No because were is for a plural noun. One doesn't say "He were." It would be "They were" or "We were." For the singular pronoun him (similar to he) it would be "He was." But thinking about it now this is the grammatically correct version:

"If I was he, I would choose the second option. I believe it would be more enjoyable."

As weird and wrong as that sounds, that's the correct version (I'm about 93% sure). My apologies.

pronouns and wording can be tricky sometimes to make it grammatically correct

that is totally true. usually when i have to type an essay, thats something that messes me up most of the time. (i do write awesome essays... if i put thought into it)

I aint gonna listen to ya'lls grammar junk, cuz i aint got no smartz

By the way I have never gotten a B in grammar. Or anything below. :)
