Thread: I'm Moving (Houses...)

Just a quick note everyone that I will be closing on my house on next Thursday at 10:00AM, then at that time the busy work starts.

Changing Locks
Vacuuming Carpets
Shampooing Carpets
Install Garage Door Opener
Move Furniture

Hopefully this can be mostly done in three days, then I will be able to use everything. Of course I expect several unexpected events as you can never fully plan these events out.
















I'd also like to note that all furniture is from the current residents. When I move on only the kickass appliances will be left (Fridge, Range, Washer, Dryer, Microwave)

Just a note I have packed up my computer early, so I am stuck on my macbook which does have UT2004 and most things, but I cannot do much web editing on it as I don't have the base files for programs like BTimes, etc.

All I have to say is that you were so used to windows, if you were forced to use Mac and only Mac (the operating system) you'd grow to like it more and more. It's just that things are so different. It's nice too that the gaming world is supporting mac more and more. Mac has its purpose and PCs have their purpose.

i am actually curious as to why many people love their MAC? explain? lol

All statements are from my experience, technical specs may be different...

MacOS runs much lighter and quicker than Windows

MacOS because it runs lighter gives you a lot more battery life

Macs are more reliable because they don't have to have third party people writing drivers for things all day. All components are pre-approved by Apple. Makes things nicer. Windows crashes mostly today because of drivers.

MacOS is so clean and simple (windows 7 ain't bad though...)

Mac equipment is built tough. My laptop is made of a metal frame, has a very powerful processor. Plenty of ram, and a very high resolution quality screen. Sure it was near $3,000 for the machine, but it has lasted long, and still handles games just fine. I have an NVidia 8700M 512MB in it. And that is 2.5 years old.

One downside is that the unit gets unbearable hot, like first degree burns hot. Not lap worthy when gaming :)

Cuz he wants to live in it without you knowing most of the time, like the evil monkey in your closet. And that is the cutest little kitchen table i have seen :D
