It's so beautiful, I was just there for 4 days this weekend for a family friends wedding :) here is some photos.

The U.P, eh? I lived there for 17 years. I can assure you, the beauty is much less endearing when you're removing 8 feet of snow from your driveway every damn day. Not that you guys in Minnesota don't get socked in, but hell hath no fury like lake effect snow from three sides. Also, if you live there and aren't an outdoors person, your options are A) Get High, and B) Suddenly come to the realization that there isn't a Gamestop or Best Buy for like 200 miles. Hope you like Wal Mart (assuming you live near one of the four cities that have one).

hahaha no gamestop for 200 mi?!!! THAT'S GOTTA SUCK! what else would people do besides get high? be couch potatoes? (no offense if you guys do that)

Yeah I was up by lake linden which is by houghten which had a walmart.

Oooo those pics are pretty :O and no gamestop or best buy is so awful...i know what its like because a few years ago my town didnt even have a gamestop, and we still dont have a best buy. Our walmart was awesome but....they downsized so it really sucks now. And i would NEVER live anywhere where there was that much snow..

ROFL wow...my burger king is the shiz. They just remodeled it so its even more awesome. But the people that work there are my age so they're stupid as hell.
