Do any of you own Left 4 Dead 2?

Want to play on a PRIVATE server with people you know? Join in our open group on steam you can then join in our server. At this point we only have one L4D2 server that is versus only. Sounds plain right? Well think again turkey!

• Our server has a respawn time of 10 seconds vs the 20 seconds for infected.
• The max players is NOT 4 v 4, try 18 v 18.
• We plan custom maps in the future, we just haven't gotten to this yet.

PWC's Awesome Map Great Job has a completely new version of the level coming out. Designed from scratch with the old version in mind, this new one contains several new objectives that are creative like you have never seen before. Featuring new objectives like the Rock Climber. All objectives work much better with a teamwork aspect.

Although the Awesome Map series are annoying they are well balanced. Expect the level in a few weeks, until then why not play the original.

Are you a great trials player? Want to show your talent to the world?

Now you can with our PWC Live section. We are running Trial related content on there, along with other Gaming related content. If you want to record yourself playing a map (20 mins or less please) record it (with Fraps, X-Fire, or some screen recorder), and compress it down to a fair size (no larger than 500MB) and upload it to a file sharing site so we can get it.

We will then compress it to our PWC Live Format and add it for all to see. Please make sure you don't have a terrible computer, because you will find out that 1) it takes up a lot of hard drive space to record, 2) your game slows down while recording, 3) you need to be able to compress the video which takes a lot of time if you have a slower processor.

As of this afternoon the Ghosts have been disabled. There comes a point where the Movement Data file gets too large for the server to handle, and that point has been reached. It was causing disconnect of players when a record was achieved. Now you'll notice the server running much more snappy.

When a text file gets to be 160MB it really puts a drain on our resources.

I have finally got motivated to fix the problem in the trial server, where the map votes were not resetting. Now upon either an Admin Forced Quickstart, or a user based Quickstart (aka the same map was voted again), it will wipe all existing map votes, making the voting system work a lot.

This has been implemented into ultraBTimes (Serverside Version 2B+)

Some may have noticed the contest went away too, only reason is I need more time to fully finish the marvel system.

As you may notice there is a new theme for our website. This was required as our old theme was not properly written to handle the large amounts of VBulletin Upgrades we have done the last few days.

This new theme so far is a big hit with our visitors, I have had people come out and say how cool the theme was. I have a few more goals on this theme. I will be fixing up our server pages and our Best Times pages so there aren't shadows and the fonts work out better. For now at least the website is usable.

Updated Download Section

We have made some changes to our download section. Due to people literally sucking the life out of our file servers, we have decided to limit downloads of guests to 10 per day. That means all people share a total of 10 downloads per day. Chances are by the afternoon you will not have any download spots.

This can be fixed by registering. You can download 5 files then per day with a standard registered account. If you want to get more downloads we suggest you donate. By donating you're helping to keep our site going. Absolutely all funds donated goes right into the bills for servers.

If you donate once you get unlimited downloads for life, along with other features such as our donators forum and access to fun servers like our private constructor server.

We are now 100% Fully moved onto our SoftLayer® Networks for our game servers. If those who did not know the history. We went with another company that was more of a web hosting only company. After about three weeks we noticed why that was, there was excessive amounts of packet loss. This doesn't matter that much when you're dealing with web hosting, but when you're running game servers packet delivery is crucial.

I know we had a lot of complaints about pings, as people in California and the west coast had higher pings compared to prior hosts because we were located in Florida. Well, with Softlayer we are back in the great state of Texas.

Although we pay more and get less, I wouldn't really consider it that way. I hope you all would agree that an extra $30/mo for a reliable network is worth it.
